NCASE M2

The NCASE M2 is a revision/offshoot of the M1EVO Mini-ITX case. The case is priced at US$165 for flatpack kit and $190 for assembled kit. The M2 was originally intended as M1EVO v2, however was rebranded to NCASE M2. For all intent and purpose, it’s an improvement on the M1EVO v1.X. See manufacturers site for more details.

M2 LAYOUT GUIDE

The name change to NCASE M2 appears to be a marketing tactic by the W360, as there is no practical reason to rebrand a planned revision of M1EVO to a new case line-up in our opinion.

Visually and design wise, it’s a slightly wider M1EVO, with some improvements: unibody motherboard tray, thicker PSU bracket, reworked front case I/O, improved graphics card and CPU cooler clearance. Overall improved case rigidity.

W360 has stated that the M1 Classic case feet, front I/O blanking plate/cover and accessory radiator brackets are forward compatibile with M2. We aren’t 100% sure about the M1EVO riser kit at this stage.

The M2 is currently only available in black rounded variant. Other variants may become available as the original M1EVO v1.X stock begins to dwindle and production is moved to M2.
